Go LPG! Chrysler Grand Voyager 3.3 Litre V6 2002 model

A nice spacious people carrier, good value but heavy on fuel and therefore expensive to run.

The conversion of this vehicle is not an easy one.

Although the Voyager looks like it will carry a good sized underslung spare wheel tank, it only has a narrow spare wheel space which will not allow a large sized tank to be fitted. If the rear exhaust mounting is moved and modified a 79 litre tank (actual capacity 63 litres) will fit in the spare wheel space.

There isn't any opportunity to fit the filler in the rear bumper.

This rear wing site is practically all that is available.

The switch was mounted on the centre dash panel on this car. It is in easy reach and visible at all times. To be plain, there weren't many options.

All in all, not a straightforward conversion by any means, although the end result is worth all the effort. This vehicle now has half of the fuel cost of petrol whilst it offers a similar range.
