A good budget 4x4 that gives reasonable fuel economy, although at up to �1 a litre for petrol it'll be a lot cheaper to run on LPG!

We fitted a 67 litre 4 hole toroidal tank in the spare wheel well which maximises LPG capacity.
4 hole tanks are much more expensive but necessary in this case as the exhaust is below the spare wheel weel.

This car had a towbar fitted which is always a low-impact solution for filler mounting, easy to get at too.

The latest style Romano fuel choice switch can be seen here, mounted to the Driver's right. A nice neat choice.

Fuel economy........

Given that petrol is now around 2.3 times the price of LPG, the car gives an equivalent fuel economy figure of 50mpg (in terms of what it would have cost on petrol).

Who said that small cars are not worth converting to LPG?
